Important directions for the trip to Barbariga

How to get to Barbariga ?

The cape Punta Cissana, on which the town of Barbariga is built, got its name by the ancient settlement of Cisse. Rovigno is located north, while Pula is located south of Barbariga. In the other hand, Vodnjan is located 15 km north-west of Barbariga.
If you are traveling to Barbariga with a personal vehicle from the east you will take the highway Zagreb – Rijeka and continue through the tunnel of Učka in the direction of Pazin, continuing towards Vodnjan and then Barbariga. From the west and from the direction of Trieste continue towards Kopar – Buje – Vodnjan – Barbariga. From the north follow the direction Villach – Ljubljana – Kopar – Buje – Vodnjan – Barbariga.

If you are traveling by the plane, you can land in the Pula airport and then continue to Barbariga with the local transportation or with a rent-a-car.

Also, if you decide to travel with a bus, your place of arrival will be the bus station in Pula or Rovigno after which you can continue with the local transportation to Barbariga. With some of the bus lines you can directly travel to Barbariga what you can check by the competent bus station.

Taking the train, you can reach Pula and then continue with a local bus, taxi or a rent-a-car to Barbariga.
