Things to do in Medulin

Medulin is one of the largest tourist destinations of Istria and it offers its visitors of all ages plenty of different things to do and interesting things to see and experience.
Things to do in Medulin: The Medulin riviera abounds in wonderful beaches with pine forests, ideal for families with children. It also comprises 11 uninhabited islets with pebbly beaches, surrounded by crystal clear sea. If you want to spend a day in a place surrounded by intact nature and crystal clear sea, Medulin is your ideal holiday destination. 

Surrounding Medulin are the towns and villages of Premantura, Banjole, Pješčana Uvala, Pomer and Vinkuran, surrounded by crystal clear sea and intact nature, as well as wonderful sandy, pebbly, and rocky beaches. 

The most popular beach in Medulin is the sandy beach of Bijeca, but the town also comprises other beautiful beaches, such as Skarpe, Belvedere, and Alba Chiara. There are more beaches in the town’s surroundings, like Pomer, Šuza, Pješčana uvala, Kamenjak...

Medulin also offers many sports activities for tourists to enjoy during their summer holiday. Depending on your preferences, you can choose from: scuba diving, Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, cycling on specially arranged cycling trails, horseback riding, sailing, golf, tennis, football, athletics, running, walking on specially arranged walking trails and various water sports.

If you are wondering what to do in Medulin, you should visit the peninsula of Vižula, an important archaeological site with remains of an Ancient Roman villa.  Additionally, the site also comprises the remains of a bath complex, wall frescoes, columns, walls, and various bronze, glass and ceramic objects.
